Little Cottage In The Forest

After many twists and turns in our adventure, we are finally on the same page when it comes to how we think about spending the next phase of our life....and at some point it includes just one more cross-country move. But I'm getting ahead of myself.

You might want to know who we are, and what this blog is going to be about.

We are a middle-aged couple, married for almost 14 years. 3 kids. The hubby is the romantic, the dreamer, the more emotional one. Also, he's the smart one, the frugal one, the rational one that keeps us on track. I, the wife, am also a romantic, and a dreamer although I hold my romanticism closer to the vest; the result of working in a very serious industry for more than two decades. I'm working on being more authentic and transparent in my work, and everyday.

Why am I being so personal? Well, the husband and I wouldn't be entertaining our dreams if it weren't for both of us trying to be more of who we really are -- not who society says we are, or our families, or our church, etc.
